One of our beloved past projects – fully refurbished, 3-bedroom house with inner courtyard in Essaouira's Old Medina.

4 floors, 3 large living spaces, 3 bedrooms, 3 en suite bathrooms, dining room, open plan kitchen, kitchenette/utility room, open log fires and spacious roof terraces.
A modern living space has been created around ancient sandstone columns and thuya wood ceilings and then a mix of colourful lights and furnishings has been added. The house is built around a small central courtyard and comprises 4 storeys, it sleeps 6 people and special attention has been made to make it extremely comfortable and private - each bedroom is situated on a different floor (for privacy) and has a bathroom en suite. There are 3 large living spaces all with working fire places, one with a built in sofa area.

Property Details
Ground Floor: The ground floor boasts a playful open plan kitchen with a curved breakfast bar with old singer stools perched at one end, there is a brand new oven/hob and free standing fridge/freezer.
The long dining room is adjoined to the kitchen and dinner can be eaten at the table in front of a log fire.
1st floor: Up to the first floor and there is a large living room entranced by two sandstone columns which are approximately 200 years old. There is a built in sofa and a huge fire place.
On this same floor there is a bedroom with a seating area, a fantastic hand crafted concrete shelf unit for clothes and a built in king size bed.
2nd floor: The second floor, you find yourself walking up into another living space with another beautifully crafted concrete shelf the whole length of the room housing books and quirky local crafts.
Outside is a small terrace and next to this a bedroom also with a king size built in bed and a wet room en suite finished in tadelekt (a waterproof polished concrete). On the same floor is a small kitchen with a washing machine.
3rd floor: Up again to a large terrace area and another fantastic bedroom with a double bed in and a wetroom en suite also finished in Tadelekt. Above this room is another roof terrace.
The whole house is finished in tadelekt on the floors and a sika product has been used for the whole of the ground floor keeping out any damp from Essaouira medina.
