Field to Table Essaouira

An immersive organic dining experience

Authentic Moroccan food with a modern twist. Guests eat al fresco under a Bedouin tent in the beautiful farm garden.

Visit this pioneering local organic farm for a unique “field to table” experience. Located just outside Essaouira, approx. 30-mins drive – it really is the perfect place to stop en route to Marrakech. Guests can wander around the farm to learn about Khalid’s permaculture techniques. Kids will love harvesting the fresh produce (with a little supervision!) Even fussy eaters will enjoy tasting the seasonal ingredients they helped to pick. Guests are hosted in the farm’s stunning gardens where they will be served a sumptuous, freshly prepared family style feast.

Organic farming is a very new concept in Morocco and our friend is pioneering this important process. This is an unusual opportunity to enjoy a Berber feast on the farm. All fresh produce is organically grown on our friend Khalid's Bbio organic farm and picked just moments before it's served to you. It literally doesn't get any fresher or cleaner than this. 100% organic, non-GM ingredients. Perfect for family, friends and travellers with young families and those who really care about what they eat.

Open every Sunday (set menu). Week day dining is strictly for private bookings of 4 people or more (by request only).

“A lovely escape into the Moroccan countryside for the most delicious brunch. Everything was homemade. We had a walk around the organic farm, Khalid explained about his farming methods, all very inspiring. It’s so beautiful, colourful Moroccan rugs and tables set up in the garden. A real treat! Highly recommend if you are driving to Marrakech – the perfect stop off!”

“By far the best food we’ve tasted in Morocco (and we’ve tasted a lot!) Absolutely spoilt for choice as a veggie too. The most beautiful, relaxing spot for lunch. The free-range kids loved exploring Khalid’s farm, who was kind enough to let them visit the donkeys and chickens. This is a definite ‘must do’ for any clean eating foodie.”
