Welcome to our quirky, bohemian guesthouses nestled in heart of Essaouira’s Old Medina! Perfectly positioned for you to explore local shops and restaurants, we’re just a leisurely 10-minute stroll from the expansive sandy beach. Whether you’re looking to immerse yourself in local culture or simply unwind in a unique and magical setting, our guesthouses provide the ideal base for your adventure.
When renovating these 200 year old properties we made a conscious decision to steer clear of the dusty, moody Moorish vibe. Instead, we leaned into our love for retro interior design.
Dar Beida is packed with groovy 60s treasures, think mushroom lamps, a wall of skulls, and a rattan hanging chair. Clean white lines and two sunny terraces set the perfect scene for photo shoots or long, lazy afternoons.
Dar Emma, a more basic vibe also showcasing some vintage treasures in a more traditional setting.
Outside the houses, laid-back Essaouira offers the perfect escape from the hectic pace of everyday life. Whether you’re craving good food, a shopping spree, or the deep relaxation of a hammam, I can connect you with all the right people.
You might find yourself wandering the medina, strolling along the beach, booking a quad biking adventure, or even heading out on a camel ride.
Back at the houses, a delicious home-cooked Moroccan meal can be delivered straight to your door.
